Art In The Early Years
This was a 3-D string design that I did when I was about 19 or so. It has always been in my sister's possession and currently hangs in her Washington D.C home. It is 4' X 4'.
This is a 3' X 3' piece of 1/4" Plexiglass that was then backed with clear resin that I added all sorts of weird stuff to it like squares of Plexiglass, rice, and lots of color when the resin was wet so it flowed. Done many, many years ago and has been outside in the garden most of the time.
This is a sculpture that I did with old style hardwood flooring nails. I did both of the sculpture's on this page at the same time ... around 1972 or so... I had given the Comet to my parents who had it until they died and it then came back to me.... it hangs in my living room now. Construction is just a lot of brazing.
.... and this was the other nail sculpture... a little more abstract.... it currently hangs in my sisters house in Washington D.C.
